Realm brings to the table a vast portfolio of product and packaging designs that have been executed for a number of reputable brands. A few here are from various toy industry and software industry projects we have done over the years. Realm can design a wide range of products and packaging designs. We have worked extensively on projects both domestically and abroad. We have connections in Asia for printing, manufacturing, stress testing, and FOB distribution. Our product designs and packaging designs have been sold world-wide by such retailers as FAO Schwarz, Amazon.com, Wallmart, Sam's Club, Target, and other recognized retailers.

According to Wikipedia, about 35% of municipal solid waste (before recycling) by weight is paper and paper products. Recycling 1 ton of newspaper eliminates 3 cubic meters of landfill. Incineration of waste paper is usually preferable to landfilling since useful energy is generated. Organic materials, including paper, decompose in landfills, albeit sometimes slowly, releasing methane, a potent greenhouse gas. Many larger landfills now collect this methane for use as a biogas fuel. In highly urbanized areas, such as the northeastern US and most of Europe, land suitable for landfills is scarce and must be used carefully. Fortunately, it is in such areas that collection of waste paper is also most efficient, as it creates more jobs for people and saves space in landfills. Recycle, folks! ;-)
Above is an example of backboard and blister pack design for the 'Stunt Pen' product designed by Fidget Factory.
A line of retro toy packaging designs were created for Restoration Hardware (three examples above top of page, above, and below). The products were designed by DaMert Company of Berkley, California.
Below is an example of a package design for a product set for Soundprints of Norwalk, Connecticut. The Habitat Series product line featured authentic illustrated wildlife books coupled with an audio CD, and realistic animal plush. The line was licensed by Nature Conservancy, Audubon Society, and the Smithsonian Institution.
We've designed products and packaging designs for such internationally recognized licensed brands as Pixar®, Dreamworks®, Disney®, Fox Animation Studios®, and Golden Books® Family Entertainment with movies such as Chicken Run, Star Wars, Anastasia, and Hercules. We have also designed for NASCAR®, NHRA®, Nature Conservancy®, WCW®, Telletubbies®, Jellabies®, and many others. |

Above is an example of one of many software package designs we have created for software applications ranging from business process management applications (of which we also designed the user interface for the application) to transcription applications. Our packaging designs are always camera ready with bleeds, dies, trims, and scores.
We have designed a vast collection of NASCAR®, NHRA® and other racing licensed products. Above are examples of a set of HASBRO® Winner's Circle branded NASCAR driver statistic books sold as a set with a die cast collectible designed by Action Performance Companies. The package design above represented a packaged 5 set of the books and die cast collectibles for Rusty Wallace, Dale Earnhardt, Sr., Dale Earnhardt, Jr., Dale Jarrett, and Jeff Gordon. Below is an example of a collection of interactive, mailable foam post cards featuring the same drivers. Realm designed the product, the graphics, worked with voice over talent to record the audio content, and designed the inserted plastic component that was encased within the product. These mailable postcards also featured a die cut, popout easel stand for display by the recipient. All of these products were sold at NASCAR race stands on the racing circuit. All photography was shot on location under contract with race photographers. Though many of these products were considered to be collectibles, they were also sold to children within toy isles. Because of this fact, all photos required editing to remove any viewable cigarette and alcohol branding. In cases such as with driver, Rusty Wallace and his title sponsor at the time (Miller Time), all logos had to be edited out and replaced with a child friendly brand called 'Rusty Time'.
Below is an example of an electronic children's product that Realm designed entirely from scratch. Everything from plastic molds to play processes, to graphic design and formatting. We worked with overseas manufacturers and printers to produce the product, third party testing resources to obtain approvals, and worked with representatives to move product from the manufacturer to the Hong Kong based distribution centers for the international retailers. One of our product designs, a talking children's book about modes of travel received the award 'Travel Product of the Year' by Dr. Toy, a respected resource for product ratings.
