The first recorded reference to "chole", the probable antecedent of golf. Chole is a derivative of hockey played in Flanders, a geographical territory of present day Belgium, france and the Netherlands. It wasn't until 1421 when a Scottish regiment aiding the French against the English at the Siege of Bauge, did the game of chole get introduced in Scotland. Golf was banned in 1457 by the Scots Parliament to preserve the skills of Archery by prohibiting "gowf" on Sundays because it had interfered with military training for the wars against England. Funny, wonder what would happen if golf was banned in the U.S. on Sundays. Bet a lot more "Honey Do's" would get done! ;-)
A flash movie was created as an initial presentation to the site. The movie reflects the nostalgia of the history of golf.

We took the initial design, which was predominantly a flat vector in white and red and added additional rich colors and depth. The deep, rich colors with gold, black, and deep rust, reflect a sense of quality and style to attract members.
A beautiful website was created to promote the concept of international golf membership. The dropdown menus were custom matching to the site borders and backgrounds making for a beautiful presentation. Color schemes reflect that of an old world Tuscan style with hints of gold.
